Manage subscriptions and invoice them automatically.

Byna creates the invoice of every subscription each month, quarter or year and sends it on the invoice date. Let clients authorize direct debit once, schedule price changes with notice ahead of time, and send announcements to your subscribers or all your contacts.

Send recurring invoices automatically

Pick the client, the products and the interval: monthly, quarterly or yearly. Byna prepares the invoice as a draft a few days before the invoice date, so you can still check it, and emails it to your client on the invoice date. The invoices follow your normal numbering.

  • Monthly, quarterly or yearly, on the same day of the month
  • A draft a few days ahead, sent on the invoice date
  • Free months before billing starts

Collect invoices by SEPA direct debit

Your client authorizes the debit once through a link, for example with iDEAL. After that every invoice email states which amount is debited on which date, instead of a pay link. The money comes in through your own Stripe or Mollie account, and the invoice is marked paid once the debit succeeds.

  • A one-time mandate through a link or at online sign-up
  • Advance notice with amount and date in every invoice email
  • If a debit fails, your client gets the pay link

Let clients sign up through a link

Turn on online sign-up for a subscription plan and share the sign-up link. Your client fills in their details, pays the first period online and in the same step authorizes the debit for the next invoices, or picks an invoice by email when you allow that. When the plan starts with free months, your client only gives the mandate. Byna then creates the contact and the subscription.

  • A public sign-up link per subscription plan
  • First payment by iDEAL or card
  • Contact and subscription created for you

Announce price changes ahead of time

Schedule the new price with an effective date. Byna prepares an announcement to your client that goes out at least 30 days ahead, and you can edit the text until it is sent. The new price applies from the first invoice on or after the effective date.

  • An announcement by email, at least 30 days ahead
  • The new price only starts once the announcement is sent
  • On a plan, for every subscriber on the plan price at once

Send announcements to subscribers or all your contacts

Write a message with variables, start from a template or let AI write a first draft. Send it to your subscribers, the subscribers of one plan, a campaign list or all your contacts, right away or at a moment you choose. Byna fills in the variables per contact.

  • Subscribers, one plan, a campaign list or everyone
  • Send now or schedule, with a test email to yourself
  • Commercial messages skip unsubscribed contacts

What you can do with it

Free months

Give a free period before billing starts. Shortly before it ends, your client hears that the first invoice is coming.

Term and renewal

After the term the subscription renews for the same term, continues monthly and cancellable per month, or stops on its own.

Renewal reminder

You and your client get a reminder before the term ends. You choose how many days ahead.

Pause and resume

Pause a subscription and resume it later. Your client is not billed afterwards for the time it stood still.

Subscription plans

Create one plan with a fixed price and put several clients on it at once. New subscribers get the current plan price straight away.

Confirmation email

At the start your client gets a confirmation with the price, the term and the date of the first invoice.

Your payment policy

Choose whether clients pick between direct debit and an invoice by email, pay by direct debit only, or pay per invoice only.

Link a contract

Link a contract of the same client to the subscription, so the agreement and the invoices sit together.

Common questions

Byna creates the invoice as a draft a few days before the invoice date and notifies you. On the invoice date it goes to your client by email, with a pay link when you receive online payments, or with the amount and date of the debit when the subscription is paid by direct debit. If you delete the draft, Byna skips that period.
