Everything you sell, one click from an invoice.
Save the products and services you sell once, with their price, VAT rate and picture. After that a line on an invoice, quote or subscription is a matter of picking the right one, and the price, the tax rule and the image come along. Variants, categories and stock are there when you need them, and out of the way when you do not.
Everything you sell, in one list.
Your catalogue opens as cards or as a table, whichever you find easier, and Byna remembers the choice. Every product shows its picture, its price, its VAT rate and how often it has been invoiced. A switch on the card takes a product out of circulation without touching the documents it already sits on.
- Cards or a table, and Byna remembers which you use
- Search on name or description, filter by app
- Switch a product off instead of deleting it
Pick a product, the line fills itself.
On an invoice, a quote, a recurring invoice or a subscription, the product picker sits right on the line. Choose one and the description, the price, the VAT rate and the product picture drop in together. A product you have not saved yet you create on the spot, without leaving the document.
- Description, price, VAT rate and picture in one pick
- Create a new product without leaving the document
- Global products, or ones tied to a specific client
Type the price, with or without VAT.
Per product you choose whether the price you type already includes VAT or still has VAT added on top, and a new product starts from the choice in your invoicing settings. The summary next to the form works out the VAT amount and the other price while you type. Pick 0, 9 or 21 percent, flag a product for domestic reverse charge, and give a sale price a start and an end date when you run a promotion.
- Including or excluding VAT, chosen per product
- The VAT amount and the other price calculated while you type
- 0, 9 or 21 percent, domestic reverse charge and a temporary sale price
Sizes, colours and what is left on the shelf.
One product can carry as many variants as you sell it in, each with its own code, barcode, price, cost price and stock count. Stock itself is optional, so a service product never asks about it. Set a threshold per product and you can see, or ask the assistant, which items are running low.
- Variants with their own SKU, barcode, price and stock
- Stock per product, switched off for services
- A low stock threshold the assistant can report on
Built for what you actually sell
A lesson package, a monthly subscription, a book with an ISBN or an hour of your time. They all live in the same list.
Subscription products
Mark a product as a subscription with a monthly, quarterly or yearly interval, a default term and a number of free months. Signing a client up then takes seconds.
Lesson packages
A driving school package carries a number of lessons and a licence category. Byna tracks how many a student has used and what the package saves against the hourly rate.
Hours become part of the price
Link a product to a project and the hours logged against it are added to its price. The picker shows the flat rate and the tracked time as one amount.
You see what was already invoiced
Put a product on an invoice for a client who had it before and Byna shows how often, on which invoice number, and what is left to bill.
Old documents stay as they were
The name, price and VAT rule are copied onto the line the moment you save. Change the product a year later and last year’s invoices keep the numbers they were sent with.
Codes that actually scan
An SKU, an EAN or UPC barcode and an ISBN per product. Byna draws the barcode itself, so you can scan it straight off the screen.
