Terms of serviceLast updated: 9 October 2026Welcome to Byna. These terms of service govern your use of our platform and the services we provide. By creating an account or using Byna, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.1. Acceptance of termsBy accessing or using Byna, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.2. Account registration & responsibilitiesTo use Byna, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.3. Description of servicesByna is a SaaS platform that provides business management tools including, but not limited to:

Agenda and appointment scheduling

Contact management (CRM)

Invoicing and financial administration

Quotes and proposals

Project management and time tracking

Custom form builder

Contract creation and digital signing

Driving school management

Sales pipeline and CRM

Byna reserves the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time. We will notify users of significant changes in advance where possible.4. Subscription, trial and paymentsByna offers subscription plans with varying feature sets. All prices are exclusive of VAT. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By subscribing you agree to the following:

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via Settings, subscription; your access remains until the end of the current month. Yearly subscriptions automatically renew for another year unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will receive an email reminder 30 days before the renewal date.

Paid subscriptions may start with a 30-day free trial. You enter your payment details via Stripe at the start of the trial; nothing is charged during the trial period. After the trial the subscription automatically continues on the billing cycle you selected (monthly or yearly). If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

You can cancel at any time via Settings, subscription. Access remains until the end of the current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused portions of a paid period, without prejudice to consumer cooling-off rights where applicable.

Paid periods are non-refundable as a rule. Statutory rights to refund or withdrawal remain unaffected where they apply (for example the consumer cooling-off right for distance contracts).

Byna may adjust pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect and can cancel before the new price applies.

Online invoice payments: if you activate online payments, Byna creates and manages a payment account for you with our payment provider Stripe. You must provide accurate verification information and you accept the Stripe services agreement during setup. Payments from your clients are processed by Stripe on your own payment account and paid out directly to your own bank account; Byna never holds these funds and is not a party to the payment between you and your client. Stripe deducts its processing fees from your payment account; Byna does not charge additional per-transaction fees. If you disable online payments, the payment account that Byna created for you is deleted at Stripe where possible.Account credit and referral program

Credit that Byna adds to your account, such as a referral bonus paid out as credit, is applied automatically to your next payments to Byna: subscription, add-ons and AI credits. The credit belongs to the account that makes the payments and is shown under Settings, subscription.

A referral bonus counts only after the first successful payment of a new customer. Byna pays out earned bonuses by bank transfer or as account credit.

Referral bonuses count payments made with money only. An invoice paid in full with credit earns no bonus, and a bonus calculated as a percentage only counts the part paid with money. This prevents credit from creating new bonuses.

5. Intellectual propertyAll content, features, and functionality of Byna — including but not limited to the design, code, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Byna and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the platform without prior written consent.You retain ownership of the data and content you create or upload to Byna. By using the platform, you grant Byna a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.6. User obligations & acceptable useWhen using Byna, you agree to:

Use the platform only for lawful business purposes.

Not attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the platform or its infrastructure.

Not access accounts or data belonging to other users without authorization.

Not upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful content.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection laws.

Comply with the fair use policy that applies to your use of the platform.

Read the full fair use policy7. Limitation of liabilityByna is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for high availability and reliability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Byna is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

Byna is not liable for data loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination and data exportYou may cancel your account at any time via Settings, subscription. Byna may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. On termination:

Your access to the platform ends at the end of the current billing period.

You can download an export of your data (clients, invoices, calendar items, contracts, files) yourself at any time via Settings, privacy, or request an export via support. After a deletion request your data remains available for export or reactivation for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted, except where statutory retention obligations apply (for example the Dutch 7-year tax-administration retention period).

Any outstanding payment obligations for access already provided remain enforceable.

9. Third-party integrations (Google Calendar)Byna offers an optional integration with Google Calendar. By connecting your Google account, you authorise Byna to access and synchronise your Google Calendar events on your behalf. The following applies to this integration:

The integration is entirely optional and only active once you connect your Google account. You can disconnect it at any time in your settings.

You are responsible for your own Google account and for complying with the applicable terms of Google. Byna is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google.

Synchronisation depends on the availability of the Google Calendar API. We are not liable for delays, data loss or errors caused by Google services or by changes Google makes to its APIs.

How Google Calendar data is accessed, used and stored is described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes to termsByna may update these terms of service from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of Byna after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.11. Governing lawThese terms of service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands.12.
